The 2025 Regitze R. Vold Memorial Prize awarded to Daniella Goldfarb

The prize is presented to Prof. Daniella Goldfarb for her groundbreaking method developments in EPR spectroscopy and its innovative applications to biological systems, especially her pioneering developments to advance in-cell protein structure studies, to advance our understanding of the solid and liquid states. Daniella was also the first female Professor in Chemical Physics at Weizmann. She is famous for her relentless innovation, intellectual rigor, and exemplary leadership, mentorship and advocacy in academia.

The 2025 Caldarelli Prize in Magnetic Resonance awarded to Alexander Forse

Alexander Forse is recognized for his pioneering and innovative contributions in the development and application of solid-state NMR spectroscopy to understand the structures and operating mechanisms of energy materials and porous solids. His study on the structure-property relationships in supercapacitors based on porous carbons and the introduction of a new class of porous materials for direct CO2 capture are highlights of his work.
