Venue to Chamonix Mont-Blanc:
Chamonix Mont-Blanc is the European capital of mountaineering, alpine skiing and adventure sports.
It mixes trendy boutiques, busy bars and elegant restaurants with shops selling "state of the art" mountaineering equipment.
This site of the 1st Winter Olympics in 1924, which is equally attractive in winter or summer, is set in a deep valley, against the Massif du Mont Blanc.
